My therapeutic philosophy is to provide a brave and safe space for my clients to be themselves so they can achieve in every field of human endeavor.

My name is Zach Peterson, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a deep passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, heal from trauma and build a healthy sense of self.

I strive to create a brave and affirming space where you can show up as your full self—without judgment. My therapeutic approach is grounded in a framework that honors Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Intersectionality, Power dynamics, and Anti-Racism (DEIPAR). These values are not add-ons—they are the foundation of my practice and essential to fostering genuine healing.

Over the years, I’ve developed expertise in working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, impulsive behaviors, family dynamics, with both adults and adolescents. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through a holistic lens, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the individual.

Let’s be real: life is hard. And if there were stronger words to describe just how hard it can be, I’d use them. Speaking from the heart, suffering in silence is a burden no one should carry alone. Seeking support can quite literally save your life. Whether you work with me or find someone else, know this—you deserve support. You deserve to take back control of your life, on your own terms.
